whenever it rains i feel this way a little something to get me thorugh this day give me a little that, no time flat it's gonna be a good thing
serene but in need of feelin free letting go and landing on my feet brushed the dirt off my back no time flat gonna be a good thing
well people believe this saying is true whatever will be will forever do whatever the cost i'll pay in full i ain't got nothing to do with you
gotta get out gotta get out of here i'm in the dark, and the light looks sincere brushed the dirt off my back no time flat gonna be a good thing
all you do is complain about your pain and the cloud that follows you won't cease to rain dont look back handle that make it into a good thing
something up in me gotta be sole controller in control of me a link in your chain, just won't do i don't want nothin' to do with you
well people believe this saying is true whatever will be will forever do whatever the cost i'll pay in full i want nothing to do with you

HAY(na)KU!
So I was "surfing" around the internet and came across a Filipino take on the traditional haiku called "Hay(na)ku". *eye shift*
For more on the background of hay(na)ku, check out eileen tabios' blog.
I think this is an interesting take on traditional haiku poems. I understand haikus as being able to say the most in a limited space.
Hay(na)ku poems, like haikus, consist of three lines. Haikus, however, have 5-7-5 syllable restrictions while hay(na)ku's have 1-2-3 word restrictions. The first line having 1 word, the second line having 2 words, and the third line containing 3 words.
I'm still a little confused as to how this form relates to Filipinos though...

she sits and burns another cold brick steps serve as her lover burnt out like her escape her light begins to fade if she could only step outside her body and see that she will be somebody her constant meditations of her desired destination will not be in vain and she'll light again not to sip lit sticks of cancer but a rather, a new escape: discovering answers to the question of herself

in life, there is always one step ahead of you and one step behind you
Thanks Robyn.
I think I need some constant reminder of our purpose. Some sort of reminder that I'm part of life's sequence, pattern.
Discourse on the above quote proved fruitful.

I was reading this URB article asking people what their "Least memorable moments of Coachella" were.
One of them was part of the cleanup crew for the festival.
"People throwing up all over the place: People should have respect for those who make minimum wage and clean up after you just so that you can had fun."
Ouch.
